What does the latest one-year bill yield look like after current inflation?
The 364-day bill yield stands 2.45 percentage points above current inflation
The latest 364-day auction yield was 6.65%, compared with the BoT current-position inflation reading of 4.20% for Jul 2026. This is a simple nominal gap, not a realised real return.
Why it matters: The gap shows how much nominal yield remains before tax, reinvestment, price changes and an investor's own inflation experience.
Method and limitation
The chart subtracts the BoT current-position inflation rate from the latest published 364-day weighted-average auction yield. The records have independent clocks and are shown without interpolation.
