Why Tanzania · infrastructure and resources
Electricity and domestic gas have operating records. LNG remains an event-driven sequence of agreements, engineering and investment gates; a resource statement is not a construction timetable.
Tracked to the official source's own cadence—not presented as a streaming feed. Every chart keeps its observation date, unit and scope attached.

Power system
The regulatory snapshot reports 4,609.66 MW of installed capacity under its stated scope and gross maximum demand of 2,508.19 MW. The gap is not a reserve-margin calculation without availability and network constraints.
Domestic gas
FY2024/25 end-use shares show 74.43% for power generation and 24.65% for industry, grounding the gas story in current domestic use.
LNG
Agreements, FEED, FID and construction are discrete official events. Tracking them is more truthful than manufacturing a continuous numeric project series.
Freshness contract
“Latest” means the newest verified observation the named authority has published. A source check never advances an observation date.
